On 11 and 12 May 2018, Oleksandr Ovchynnykov participated at a seminar on the effectiveness of the role of international tribunals in upholding human rights in Beirut, Lebanon. This seminar was dedicated to the evaluation of the effectiveness of international tribunals, in particular international criminal courts, in protecting human rights. The seminar was also dedicated to the role played by lawyers in the functioning of those international tribunals.
The seminar was organised by the International Association of Lawyers, of which Oleksandr Ovchynnykov is member, in cooperation with the Beirut Bar.
