Oleksandr Ovchynnykov participated at an expert meeting on protection of lawyers’ rights and ethical standards of legal practice in Osh (Republic of Kyrgyzstan)

On 30 June 2017, upon invitation by the managers of the European Union project “EU-Central Asia Rule of Law”, Oleksandr Ovchynnykov participated at a working meeting of a round table on protection of lawyers’ rights and ethical standards of legal practice in Osh (Republic of Kyrgyzstan). The round table was jointly organized with the Paris and Kyrgyz Bars.

Oleksandr Ovchynnykov informed the participants of the round table about existing international standards around the protection of lawyers’ rights and ethical standards of legal practice. He also actively participated in the discussion about the most acute problems of the Kyrgyz Bar in the light of the above-mentioned international standards.
