On 25-27 September 2017, Oleksandr Ovchynnykov participated as a lecturer at a training seminar for Tajik judges in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan). The seminar, which was organized by the European Union and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, concerned the quality of judicial decisions in administrative, civil and criminal cases.
